We started by helping a friend. That became EventEase.
We helped a close friend honor his father with a charity golf outing. Spreadsheets and payment tracking were eating him alive. That is still the person we help.
Our purpose
Make the fundraiser easier, so more of the work goes to the cause.
Organizations doing good should not lose money to spreadsheets, unpaid invoices, and a weekend of chasing names. We build the event website and stay on the call when you need us.
Our story
Helping a friend became the work.
He was overwhelmed by spreadsheets, payment tracking, and the pressure of managing everything alone. That was not a one-off.
EventEase has been helping organizations run fundraising events for well over a decade. Volunteers were carrying events without the right tools. Good causes were losing money because the process was too manual. We started building a website for the fundraiser so you can tell the story, take sign-ups, take payment, and — if you want — let each person raise in their name.
Many of the causes we support are personal to us: cancer organizations, veteran groups, children’s programs, community foundations, and memorial events.
EventEase is a Connecticut-based company that has been helping organizations run events and fundraisers for more than a decade. We build our software here, support our customers directly, and believe good technology should come with real people behind it.

EventEase started with a simple idea: make fundraising events easier to run without making them feel impersonal.
I'm Doug Haines, founder of EventEase. I've spent years working directly with the people behind these events — answering questions, helping solve problems, and improving EventEase based on what organizers actually need.
That personal approach is still a big part of how we run EventEase today.

Where we started
Golf is how EventEase began. It is not all we do.
Charity golf has been part of EventEase from the beginning, and we know what goes into running a great tournament. From registrations, foursomes, and sponsorships to hole assignments, payments, live scoring, contests, and more, we’ve built tools around the way charity golf tournaments actually work. For golf cannons, signage, and people on the course, we partner with Golf Tournament Solutions (GTS).
But EventEase has grown far beyond the golf course. Today, organizations use EventEase for galas, school fundraisers, sporting events, concerts, runs and walks, community events, and much more.
